Algeria’s Presidential Elections 2019, “another step in preserving country’s stability and security”

“Scheduled for 18 April, the upcoming presidential election is “another step in preserving the country’s stability and security,” Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and and National Planning Noureddine Bedoui said Friday in Lahdada (Souk Ahras).

“The presidential election is another step in preserving Algeria’s stability and security under the enlightened leadership of President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika,” said the Minister ahead of the festivities commemorating the 61st anniversary of the bloody events in Sakiet Sidi Youcef.

“Algeria, stable and secure, has suffered greatly during the years of indiscriminate terrorism, and now calls on its children to enhance its security”, the Minister said.

“The upcoming election will reinforce the great progress made on the path of development,” affirmed Bedoui.

Besides, Bedoui called on the Algerian people and the inhabitants of the border areas in particular to “express their choice and participate strongly in the upcoming election.”
