Paris Arson: Repatriation of Algerian victim’s remains


The remains of the Algerian victim, Radia Benaziez, was repatriated, Thursday evening, to Algiers.

The accompaniment of the procedure of repatriation of the body of the deceased was instructed by the President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, said the Ambassador of Algeria in France, Abdelkader Mesdoua. The late Radia will be buried in the cemetery of Garidi (Kouba).

In this aspect, a ceremony was held, in Paris, to pay tribute to the deceased, during which 

the imam of the Great Mosque of Paris read verses from the Holy Qur’an and made a short preach through which he tried to console the relatives of the late by relying on Koranic verses and Hadiths of the Prophet Mohamed.

The daughter of the late journalist Slimane Benaziez, who died in September 2017, Radia graduated in 2002 from the Ecole polytechnique d’architecture et d’urbanisme (EPAU) in El Harrach before moving to France to pursue management training.
