Algeria: Flights cancelled due to bad weather, snow


Scheduled flights to and from seven airports in the East and Southeast of the country were canceled, this morning, Thursday, Jan. 24, announced the national company Air Algerie.

Domestic and international flights are suspended to and from the airports of Setif, Constantine, Tebessa, Jijel, Batna, Hassi Messaoud and Biskra, the same source added.

These provinces are affected by severe weather, marked, in particular, by snowfall, strong winds and very low visibility.

In this aspect, Air Algérie specifies that flights to and from these airports will remain suspended until weather conditions improve.
