☔️ Special Weather Forecast Bulletin: Snowfall covering reliefs at altitude of 700 meters

Kara Murphy has lived in Millcreek Township, Pennsylvania, for 15 years and says she's never seen snow like this. Murphy took this photo at about 7:30 on Tuesday morning. She says they cleared the snow off of her in-laws' car last night, and it is covered in snow again. "My husband's guessing we??ve got 3 feet but it??s drifting in spots higher than that," she said. "We had a plow come down our street overnight but it??s impassable again," she said.

Snowfall is expected, as of tomorrow, Thursday, Jan, 24, 2019, on the Northern and Eastern reliefs exceeding 700 meters of altitude, according to the National Office of Meteorology.


The concerned provinces are: Tissemsilt, Ain-Defla, Medea, Blida, Tizi Ouzou, Boumerdes, Bouira and Bordj Bou Arreridj.

Local snowfall amounts will be on the order of 10 to 15 cm.

The bulletin will come into effect on Thursday at 09:00 a.m till  Friday at 09:00.

The eastern reliefs will be the most affected by the snowfall. The concerned provinces are:  Setif, Mila, Constantine, Guelma, Souk Ahras, Batna, Um El Bouaghi, Khenchela, Tebessa, Annaba, Skikda, Jijel and Bejaia.

Snow is expected on these provinces from Thursday at 03:00 a.m until Friday at 03:00 a.m. 

Local snowfall amounts will be on the order of 25cm.
