ALGIERS- Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities and National Planning Noureddine Bedoui said, Thursday, the administration is ready to organize the next presidential election, adding that all human and material resources have been made available for this purpose.
Regarding the cleansing of electoral lists, the minister reported “positive results”, adding that “Algeria has new technologies across the national territory to facilitate this work.”
With regard to local officials recently sacked, the minister said that “the work of each responsible is followed by rigorous monitoring and control,” adding that “the officials are controlled by the chief magistrate of the country and the one who does not fulfill his/her mission properly will not have his/her place in the institutions of the State “.
In addition, the Interior Minister has denied the existence of poor communes in Algeria. “All the municipalities benefit from financial aid from the state,” he added.
