Trade: Lawsuits filed against traders rising prices of subsidized products

“Trade Ministry has filed several lawsuits against traders who dared to raise prices for some subsidized products, like milk,” pointed out, today, Tuesday, the director general of economic control and repression of fraud in the Ministry of Commerce, Abderrahmane Benhazil.

Guest at Ennaher TV, the official highlighted that no less than 8 billion dinars of non-compliant food products were seized in 2018 by the services of the Directorate of Trade.

Ennahar TV’s guest said that there are different products unfit for consumption and do not meet the required security criteria, declining to reveal the quantities seized that will be withdrawn from the market.
