Industrial subcontracting: AGM, Sonelgaz ink framework agreement


Sonelgaz group and the Algerian Group of Mechanics (AGM) sealed, Tuesday in Algiers, a framework agreement to establish subcontracting activities and provide its subsidiaries with services.

The framework agreement was signed between the two government groups Sonelgaz and Algerian Group of Mechanis (AGM), by, respectively, Mohamed Arkab and Bachir Dehimi, in the presence of the Minister of Energy, Mustapha Guitouni and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry and Mines, Kheireddine Medjoubi.

Concluded between Sonelgaz’s subsidiaries and the AGM Group’s EPEs, this agreement will be implemented through application contracts, program contracts and standing contracts.

For the AGM group, 29 EPEs (activating in various industrial sectors) will be responsible for supplying Sonelgaz subsidiaries with equipment, spare parts and associated services.

This agreement is governed by the Algerian legislation and regulations in force.

In this aspect, the monitoring and evaluation of its implementation will be ensured by a joint committee composed of representatives of both parties. The agreement is concluded for a period of five (5) years and can be renewed after agreement of the parties.
