Terrorist attack on Libya’s foreign ministry: FM expresses Algeria’s “strongest condemnation”


Foreign Minister Abdelkader Messahel expressed the “firm condemnation” of Algeria of the terrorist attack which targeted Tuesday the Libyan Foreign Ministry building in Tripoli.

In a telephone interview with Libyan Foreign Minister Mohamed Tahar Siala on Sunday, Abdelkader Messahel expressed Algeria’s strong condemnation of the terrorist attack on the Foreign Ministry headquarters in Tripoli, assuring the full solidarity of Algeria with the Libyan people and the Government of National Accord, said a statement from the Foreign Ministry.

Algeria’s foreign minister underlined that “this barbaric act, which strikes again Libya, reminds the need for Libyans to strengthen their ranks in order to face the terrorist challenges”, he pointed out.

As a reminder, a suicide attack that targeted the Libyan Foreign Ministry headquarters in Tripoli, on Sunday morning, cost the lives of three people.
