The Algeria-Azerbaijan friendship parliamentary group was installed, Monday, at the headquarters of the People’s National Assembly (Lower House), with a view to boosting bilateral relations through multidimensional parliamentary exchanges, the Assembly announced in a communiqué.

The “Algeria-Azerbaijan” friendship parliamentary group was installed, yesterday, at the headquarters of People’s National Assembly, with a view to developping bilateral relations through multi-dimensional parliamentary exchanges.
The ceremony was chaired by Abderrazak Terbeche, the APN’s Vice President for External Affairs, in the presence of Azerbaijani Ambassador Maher Aliyev.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Terbèche reviewed “the privileged bilateral relations”, pleading for “more rapprochement through the exchange of experiences and expertise, particularly at the parliamentary level”.
He, also, insisted on the role of parliamentary diplomacy in “promoting the level of cooperation.
“The parliamentarians of both countries are called upon to further develop multidimensional bilateral relations, particularly, in the political and socio-economic fields,” he added, pointing out that the parliamentary friendship groups are “an adequate space to further deepen the dialogue.
