The Minister of Housing, Urban Planning and the City, Abdelwahid Temmar, highlighted, Thursday in Jijel, the need to provide green spaces on new housing sites to be in “symbiosis with the surrounding nature.”
On the second day of his working visit to the province, the Minister, particularly, emphasized the importance of spreading the culture of preservation of the environment especially among children and young people through their association with the actions of reforestation.
Mr. Temmar called to finalize “before the end of the 3rd quarter of 2019” work of realization of the 2000 housing in lease-purchase (AADL). According to the instructions of the Minister, the projects of 400 units of the two communes of Tahir and El Aouana must be delivered “next April”, that of 800 units in the city of Jijel “in July 2019” and that of the other 400 units also being constructed in the commune of Jijel in “September 2019”.
During the laying of the foundation stone of the 1,100 AADL housing project in the Chadia region in Kaous commune to be completed in 28 months, the minister insisted on the reception of the rental housing projects launched in “the relatives deadlines and in accordance with the established national calendar “.The minister also launched the work of another project of the construction of 1,200 AADL housing units, to be completed in 27 months, in the municipality of Jijel. He, occasionally, urged those responsible for these projects to “communicate with the subscribers, listen to them and respond to their concerns and provide them with all necessary explanations through regular meetings”.
Mr. Temmar assured that the province of Jijel has benefited from an additional lot of 1.991 AADL housing to respond to the requests, adding that their work will begin next year at “a fast pace unlike previous projects having incurred noticeable delay “.
The minister inspected the project of 100 public rental housing (LPL) to be received, gaving it the name of Shahid Boudréa Saïd, before presiding over a symbolic ceremony of handing a key to a beneficiary family.
On site, the minister expressed his satisfaction with the work done by local companies, especially young people, calling to encourage them and entrust them with new projects to enable them to expand and employ more people.
In the administrative center of the province, the minister inaugurated the headquarters of the direction of the public equipments and the direction of housing and inspected the building site of 214 assisted promotional housing in the East of the city whose reception is planned for ” next March “.
