African Civil Society Parliament delegation praised Wednesday “Algeria’s pioneer role” in Africa, at all levels, especially in the fight against transcontinental phenomena, including illegal migration.
The president of the African Parliament of civil society, Jean Claude D. Kessé, received with the delegation accompanying him by the vice president of People’s National Assembly (APN), Abderezak Terbeche, put forward “the pioneering role of Algeria in the African continent at all levels, especially in the fight against transcontinental phenomena, including illegal migration, “asserting, in this regard, that the handling of the phenomenon of illegal migration required the mobilization of all actors, said a statement from the lower house of parliament.
Urging Algeria to “work with the African Union (AU) to find an effective solution and put an end to this phenomenon”, the same official called for the support of a continent-wide development fund and the implementation of the necessary solutions to the crises afflicting African youth.
For his part, APN Vice-President Abderazak Terbeche stressed that Algeria’s position is clear and unwavering in support of continent and the efforts made for its development “.
