President Bouteflika signs decrees on ratification of cooperation agreements

President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika has signed five presidential decrees on ratification of cooperation agreements with many countries, in accordance with Article 91-9 of the Constitution, the presidency of the Republic said in a statement.

This is the protocol annexed to the General Convention between the Government of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria and the Government of the French Republic on social security, signed in Algiers on April 10, 2016.

The second decree signed by the Head of State ratifies the cooperation agreement between the Government of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria and the Government of the Republic of China in the areas of plant protection and plant quarantine, signed in Beijing on September 22, 2017.


The third decree ratifies the cooperation agreement between the Government of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria and the Government of the Republic of China in the areas of animal health and quarantine, signed in Beijing on September 22, 2017.

It is also the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria and the Government of the Republic of Mali in the field of national solidarity, signed in Bamako on November 3, 2016.

The last decree ratifies the agreement between the Government of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria and the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria on the mutual exemption of short-stay visa requirements for the holders of diplomatic and service passports, signed in Sofia on March 23, 2018.
