AIIB-Algeria: Infrastructure programme in recent years to be discussed

Algeria’s infrastructure programme in recent years will be at the heart of the discussions between Finance Minister Abderrahmane Raouya and Chairman of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) Jin Liqun on visiting to Algiers from 17 to 19 November, the ministry said in a statement.

Chairman of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) Jin Liqun will pay a working visit to Algeria  from 17 to 19 November, said the statement.

In this aspect, Algeria’s infrastructure programme in recent years will be at the heart of the discussions between Finance Minister Abderrahmane Raouya and Chairman of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) Jin Liqun, in addition to other issues.

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank headquartered in Beijing. Like other development banks, its mission is to improve social and economic outcomes in its region, Asia, and beyond. The bank opened in January 2016 and now has 86 approved members worldwide.
