The Directorate General of the National Police (DGSN) and the European Union (EU) held talks, Thursday in Algiers, with Director General of the National Police, Colonel Mustapha Lahbiri and Head of the EU Delegation in Algeria, John O’Rourke, said the DGSN in a communiqué.
During their talks, the two parties discussed ” issues related to the cooperation between the Algerian Police and the European Union, in the areas of training, the Scientific Police, and the exchange of information, experiences and expertise to deal with any form of crime, including cross-border organized crime and cybercrime, “said the same source.
The head of the European Delegation welcomed, on this occasion, “the professionalism of the Algerian Police and its role in promoting and consolidating police cooperation at regional and international levels,” the statement added.
