English Language: Algerians improve their skills


Algerians, alongside Egyptians and South Africans, have improved their skills in mastering the English language, said, Thursday, a company specializing in language training.


The findings of the study have showed that Africa is the region that has “most” progress in 2018.

“Algeria, Egypt and South Africa are improving their English skills,” says EF Education First’s annual barometer.

EF Education First came to these conclusions after a study conducted on one million people over 18 from 88 countries worldwide. The test includes listening, reading and grammar.

In Europe, Sweden leads the list for the fourth time in eight years, followed by the Netherlands and Norway, respectively, in 2nd and 3rd place.

Italy, which is ahead of France (25th) for a few years now, is ranked 24th out of 32 countries in Europe, says the annual barometer of EF Education First, confirming that the French people are far from mastering the language of Shakespeare as France has been ranked 35th worldwide.
