Painter and calligrapher Mohamed Bouthelidja to exhibit in Indonesia soon


Painter and calligrapher Mohamed Bouthelidja from Souk Ahras city, east of Algeria will soon exhibit his works in Indonesia, the artist announced on Wednesday.

Met on the sidelines of the opening of the crafts exhibition, held at the festival hall Noureddine Djouad, the artist revealed  that he will exhibit his works in Indonesia, highlighting that this cultural rendez-vous will be held in the framework of cultural exchanges between the two countries.
The official highlighted that among the chosen collection, will be works inspired by the
Maghrebian style of Islamic calligraphy that he has been developing  since his studies in plastic arts in Paris (France) in the 1970s.

The exhibition of handicrafts, which will run until the 14th of November, brought together artisans (jewelers, coppersmiths, potters, pastry chefs, sculptors, plasterers, leatherworkers) from the provinces of Batna, El Tarf, Annaba, Oran, Constantine, Biskra, Skikda, Bouira and Tizi Ouzou.
