Counterterrorism: Two homemade bombs destroyed in Tebessa

Two (2) homemade bombs were destroyed, Monday in Tebessa, by a detachment of People’s National Army (ANP), said Tuesday the Ministry of National Defense  in a statement.

 

“As part of the fight against terrorism, a detachment of People’s National Army destroyed on November 5, 2018 in Tebessa two (2) homemade bombs,” said the same source.

On the other hand, as part of the fight against smuggling and organized crime, detachments of  People’s National Army “intercepted, during separate operations in Bordj Badji Mokhtar and In Gezzam, thirty ( 30) gold miners and seized 6 metal detectors, 12 generators, 34 jackhammers as well as three (3) all-terrain vehicles and 4 motorcycles “.

In addition, detachments of the ANP and elements of the National Gendarmerie “arrested, in Djelfa, two (2) smugglers in possession of 56,340 psychotropic tablets, while three (3) illegal immigrants of different nationalities were arrested in Naâma, “the statement concluded.
