Italian Prime Minister pays tribute to memory of National Liberation War martyrs

Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte on Monday paid tribute to the memory of National Liberation War (1954-1962) martyrs, at the Martyr’s Memorial in Algiers.

Mr.Conte, who was accompanied by Foreign Minister Abdelkader Messahel and Minister of Energy Mustapha Guitouni, laid a wreath at the commemorative stele and observed a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs of the Algerian Revolution.

The Italian Prime Minister has started a working and friendship visit to Algeria at the invitation of the President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
