The Algerian ambassador to Cuba stressed, on Wednesday, the illegal nature of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States for six decades to Cuba.
In this aspect, the Algerian ambassador signed formulations of the regional groups against the blockade imposed by the United States to the Caribbean nation since 1962 under the presidency of murdered President John F. Kennedy.
Besides, the Algerian Diplomat considered the ties binding Algiers and Havana as fraternal, recalling Cuba’s role in supporting the end of racism in southern Africa.
The UN General Assembly submitted for debate and voting the draft resolution ‘Necessity of Ending the Blockade against Cuba’ for the 27th consecutive time, approved with persistence by almost unanimous majority.
