“There is a sincere and common will between Syria and Algeria to strengthen mutual relations and look for partnership opportunities,” pointed out Algerian Ambassador to Damascus Saleh Bousha.
In an interview with SANA, Bousha expressed hope that Syria would recover quickly, highlighting that economy is one of the factors that enabled Syria to overcome all the challenges endured throughout the past seven years of war.
In this aspect, the Algerian Diplomat noted that the trade exchange volume between Syria and Algeria exceeded half a billion dollars before the start of the crisis, not to mention student, cultural, artistic, social, and economic exchange.
“Relations between the two brotherly countries have not halted, as the embassies of Syria and Algeria are still working and the social communication between the two peoples are ongoing,” stressed the official.
