Illegal immigration: 43 would-be immigrants intercepted off Bouzedjar, Cape Falcon

Units of the Coastguards coming under Bouzedjar port (Ain Temouchent, about 480 km west of Algiers) foiled an attempt of illegal immigration of 13 people who were intercepted off Bouzedjar, said this security body.

Earlier, thirty (30) would-be immigrants were intercepted, Thursday, during two separate operations, off Cape Falcon (Ain El Turck), by units of the Coast Guard of Oran.

During the first operation, 13 people, including two women and two minors, were apprehended. They were intercepted aboard an inflatable boat at 7 am,  4 miles north of Cape Falcon by a coast guard patrol.

The second operation took place at 10 am, 17 miles north of Cape Falcon, during which 17 would-be immigrants were intercepted.
