Algerian Foreign Ministry has responded to Libyan National Army (LNA) commander Khalifa Haftar’s threats to “spread” war to the Algeria.
Foreign Minister held a phone conversation with his Libyan counterpart, Mohamed Taher Siyala, over the last declarations, underlined the State-run television ENTV.
According to the same source, the Libyan Minister disavowed Khalifa Haftar, qualifying him as a retired General.
The Libyan FM has “dissociated himself from the inappropriate remarks attributed to Marshal Haftar,” said a communiqué of the Foreign Ministry (MAE).
In a video circulated on social media, Haftar threatened that “war could be spread, in moments, to the Algerian border.”
“We will turn the destination of the war in a blink of an eye.” He remarked.
