Algeria-kazakhstan: Good co-operation relations between both Constitutional Council highlighted

The head of the Constitutional Council, Mourad Medelci,  on a visit to Kazakhstan to attend an international conference, was received, Wednesday, by President Noursoultan Nazarbaïev in the capital, Astana.

Medelci, who participating in a conference on “The Constitution: Enshrining values of the rule of law, civil society and the modern State”, in a speech on behalf of delegations taking part in the conference, extended congratulations to Kazakhstan on the occasion of the celebration of the National Constitution Day of the country on Aug 30.

In this aspect, the official conveyed the greetings and congratulations of President Abdelaziz Bouteflika to his counterpart, President Nazarbaïev, and his wishes of progress and prosperity for the Kazakh people, according to a statement issued by the Constitutional Council here Wednesday.

During the meeting, he highlighted “the good co-operation relations between the Algerian Constitutional Council and its Kazakh counterpart”, stressing that the two bodies play a major role in the institutional building of the two countries.

For his part, Kazakh President expressed his willingness  to further boost the bilateral relations between Algeria and Kazakhstan in all fields of life.
