Africa Swimming Championships: Over 200 athletes to compete in Algiers

More than 200 swimmers from about twenty countries will be in Algiers soon to compete in the 13th Africa championships (senior men and women) September 10-15, according to the organizing committee led by the president of the Algerian Swimming Federation, Mohamed-Hakim Boughadou.

 

“32 countries have expressed readiness to take part in the 13th African Swimming Championship in Algiers, however,  today, only 20 have officially declared their participation,” ASF Secretary-General Djaffar Benzerouk told APS.
“Preparations are  underway and the various commissions are working to bring together the best conditions for the stay of the hosts of Algeria.

Before the start of the 13th African Open Championship, the African Swimming Confederation (CAN) will hold a regular meeting of its executive board, chaired by South African Ram Samy Sam, head of the continental body.
