Algeria has condemned “in the strongest terms” the attack, which targeted the ceremony marking the 81st anniversary of the Bolivarian National Guard in Venezuela, said, Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a communiqué.
Algeria reiterated its total rejection of the resort to violence for political purposes, added the same statement.
In this aspect, Algeria called on on all stakeholders to respect the will of the people and favor the path of dialogue and reconciliation.
The assassination attempt took place on Saturday in the middle of Maduro’s address to the military. The drone attack, which interrupted his speech midway, was caught on film.
