India: Youngsters from 20 nations, including Algeria, display cultural aspects at AIESEC’s ‘Global Village’


Youngsters from about 20 nations, including Algeria, took part, on Sunday in India, at the AIESEC annual programme ‘Global Village’.

The participants presented cultural aspects of their countries at the AIESEC annual programme ‘Global Village’ . They had souvenirs, photos, magazines and cuisine from their respective countries on display.

Several programmes were on the agenda, including various contests for the audience.

“This event encourages social sustainability, world awareness, and cultural understanding,” highlighted AIESEC Dehradun president Upasana Ray.

Participants from countries including Bulgaria, Italy, Greece, Portugal, China, Taiwan, Russia, Mexico, Bahrain, Morocco, Indonesia, Tunisia, Algeria, Germany, Kyrgyzstan, Sweden, Hongkong, Turkey, Kenya and Angola, have been in Dehradun for six weeks, volunteering in different social projects.
