Arab Open Swimming Championship (Day one): Sahnoune grabs gold

Algerian international swimmer, Oussama Sahnoune grabbed the gold medal (100m butterfly) and beat the national record of the competitions of day one of the Arab Open Championship (women and men) scheduled on 12-15 July at the swimming pool of the Olympic complex of Rades (Tunis).

The Algerian swimmer snatched the gold medal, beating the national record.
In addition, Algeria won 3 silver medals; Lounis Khendriche (800 meters freestyle), Nazim Ben Bara (50 meters breaststroke) and Ramzi Chouchar (200 meters medley).
For her part, Nesrine Moudjahed (women) snatched the gold medal in the 100 butterfly while Rania Nefsi grabbed the same medal in the 200-meter medley.
