Sonelgaz group, IMetal group and South Korean Company B.H.I, on Thursday, sealed the statutes of a joint-venture specialized in the manufacturing of recovery boilers and heat exchangers for combined cycle power plants.
Called B.H.I Algeria, the shares of this new entity are divided between Sonelgaz (30%), the IMetal Group (35%), and the South Korean company, B.H.I (35%), said the same source.
Present at the signing ceremony, held at the headquarters of his company, Sonelgaz Group CEO Mohamed Arkab, noted that “this partnership is a first in Algeria”, adding that “this joint venture will allow the transfer of technology , which will add value to the company and the country as well.”
For his part, the IMETAL Group CEO pointed out that the principle of this joint venture is a win / win for the three contractors.
For his part, the president of BHI stressed the interest of his company for the Algerian market, expressing willingness to expand this partnership to other areas “.
As a reminder, this project is part of the agreements signed by Sonelgaz, with various companies in the national industrial sector, with a view to achieving intersectoral cooperation.
