Algerian Ambassador to Tunisia provides explanations over new taxes imposed on Algerian carriers


The Algerian Ambassador to Tunis, Abdelkader Hadjar, provided, on Monday, explanations over the new taxes imposed by Tunisia on the Algerian carriers entering the territory.


The Algerian envoy Hadjar highlighted that the Tunisian Parliament introduced a new tax in the law of finance (LF), on the carriers of goods, adding that passenger vehicles are not concerned.

It is worth mentioning that this tax, already in force, at all Algerian-Tunisian border centers, is fixed at 200 Tunisian dinars (TD), or 14,000 Algerian dinars (AD).
