1 killed, 8 injured as military plane skids off runaway at Biskra Airport-Photos


A military airplane deviated from runway, Sunday afternoon, upon landing at Biskra Airport, causing the death of one person and the injury of eight crew members.

According to the images of the plane, a C-130 Hercules military transport aircraft, cut in half near Mohamed Khider International Airport in Biskra.

The aircraft was used in a parachute jump exercise by military troops. There were only crew members and instructors on board during the landing.

In this aspect, the 8 wounded were evacuated to Biskra hospital.

Earlier in April, a military plane crashed just after takeoff in Boufarik, killing up to 257 people.
