FM Messahel on two-day visit to Bamako to co-chair committees


Foreign Minister Abdelkader Messahel will be in Bamako, Mali, on Tuesday, for a two-day working visit, carrying with him a message from President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika to Malian President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita.

During his stay in the Malian capital, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will co-chair with his counterpart, Tieman Hubert Coulibaly, the 13th session of the Bilateral Strategic Committee.

In addition, Mr. Messahel will chair a ministerial meeting of the Follow-up Committee for the Implementation of the Agreement for Peace and Reconciliation in Mali, resulting from the Algiers Process.

During this visit, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will hold meetings with senior Malian officials so as to discuss bilateral relations and prospects for strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
