Secretary-General of National Liberation Front, Djamel Ould Abbas, praised, in a meeting held, on Saturday, May, 12, 2018, in Annaba, the efforts exerted by the President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, underscoring the President’s achievements during the last two decades, which “no one can deny.”
“Nobody, be they ungrateful or unfair, can deny President Bouteflika’s achievements in the last two decades in all the fields of development and reforms,” said the Secretary General.
“At the political level, the President has maintained peace and stability despite the crises witnessed in many Arab countries as well as promoted the rights and liberties of people,” he said.
In this regard, he underlined the construction of millions of housing units and the significant reduction of unemployment, which is today far from its “alarming” rate recorded in the beginning of this century, ensuring that the State will continue making further efforts to improve these results.
Algeria also made a progress in the field of education and teaching as well as social benefits, pointed out the official.
While broaching the economic field, Ould Abbas said that “our country recorded, in the last two decades, a qualitative leap in the improvement of our agricultural capacities, creation of hundreds of thousands of medium-sized companies and the consolidation of our basic infrastructures.”
On the other hand, FLN’s SG paid tribute to the late Iraqi President Saddam Hussein as well as former Libyan President Mouammar Kadhafi.
