The documentary film “La bataille d’Alger, un film dans l’histoire” (The Battle of Algiers, a movie inside history) directed by Malek Bensmail won the Grand prize of the International Film and History Festival of Taroudant, Morocco (FICHTA) which wrapped up Saturday, local press said.
“The battle of Algiers, a film of history” has already been competing in 2017 at the 28th edition of Carthage Film Days (JCC),” said the Director.
According to the press, FICHTA aims to present works dealing with events and historical issues from a cinematographic point of view.
