Missing Algerian tuna boat: A body discovered by Italian fishermen

More than two weeks after the disappearance of the Algerian tuna boat “Younes II”, a body was discovered by Italian fishermen off the town of Mazara Del Vallo, in Sicily (Italy).

 

The corpse, with a lifejacket, was discovered 2 miles from the coast of Granitola Torretta by fishermen, reported, Friday morning, the local media marsalanews.it.

According to the same media, this is likely the body of a member of the Algerian tuna boat”s crew, disappeared since April 3, as the name of this boat (Younès II) is also written on the lifejacket.

According to preliminary findings, this is a man of middle age and dark complexion, added the same source.
 

As a reminder, the tuna boat disappeared off the Tunisian coast on April 3, with 6 sailors on board.
