Sonatrach-Indonesia’s Pertamina starts drilling 20 oil wells in May

Indonesia’s oil company Pertamina Internasional EP (PIEP) will start drilling 20 oil wells next May as part of a partenership with Sonatrach, the chairman of Pertamina in Algeria said Wednesday.

The drilling, which will be carried out at the oil field “Amlan Kathla” in Hassi Berkine, will increase the production of crude oil to of 30,000 barrels per day, said Maria Mellia, in a statement to the APS on the sidelines of the scientific exhibition “Expo Sciences 3”.
