Algeria-Guinea: Cooperation agreement in field of public security, civil protection inked

Algeria and the Republic of Guinea have signed a cooperation agreement in the field of public security and civil protection to counter terrorism and cross-border crime.

As part of  Minister of Interior, Local Assemblies and Regional Planning, Noureddine Bedoui, visit to the Republic of Guinea, a cooperation agreement in the field of public security and civil protection was inked.

The agreement, signed between Noureddine Bedoui and his Guinean counterpart, Abdoul Kabélé Camara, aims to “face terrorism, cross-border crime and serious threats related to the expansion of illegal activities.”

Mr. Bedoui is paying a three-day official visit, since Monday, to the Republic of Guinea at the invitation of his Guinean counterpart.
