Iraq: Algerian sentenced to life imprisonment

Jamila Boutoutaou, a French woman of Algerian origin was sentenced, on Tuesday, to life imprisonment by the Central Criminal Court of Baghdad for belonging to Daesh.

The 29-year-old traveled with her husband and son to Turkey before joining the terrorist group ISIS.
During her trial, she explained that her son had been killed during a bombing in 2017.
