Customs officers involved in arms trafficking from France

Algiers’ Security Services arrested today, Monday, April 16, an arms dealer in the Port of Algiers, learned ALG24 from a reliable source.

 

A young Algerian emigrant living in Lyon, France, tried to smuggle from France, via the port of Algiers, six pieces of weapons, hiding them in a Peugeot utility vehicle.

In this aspect, the security has also arrested six customs officers of the port of Algiers, who would be accomplices. This complicity of customs officers was confirmed by a survey conducted by the Algiers security services.
