Many Algerian and Arab artists offered their condolences to the families of the victims, and the whole Algerian people following the crash of a military aircraft, near the air base of Boufarik (35 Km south of Algiers), that claimed the lives of 257 people, 10 of whom crew members.

The Algerian writer Ahlam Mostghanemi said that this tragedy has united the Algerian people. She offered her sincere condolences to the victims of the tragedy.
Lebanese singer Amal Hijazi, Tunisian singers Saber Rebaï and Latifa Arfaoui and others voiced their most heartfelt condolences and sincere feelings of compassion and sympathy, praying to the Almighty to fill the victims with His mercy and include them among the martyrs and the righteous in His vast paradise.
