16th International Energy Forum: Guitouni intervenes in New Delhi

The 16th International Energy Forum, which kicked off on Tuesday in New Delhi, India, and attended by Energy Minister Mustapha Guitouni, was dedicated to the theme “Access to Energy and Poverty Reduction, “a theme discussed in plenary session, said the Ministry of Energy in a statement.

“Access to energy is a key element for achieving sustainable economic, environmental and social development,” pointed out the same statement.

This session was also an opportunity to explore ways and means to reduce energy poverty.

Regarding the development prospects of the sector in the field of hydrocarbons, the minister mentioned the provisions that are underway for a better attractiveness of investments in the sector.
