Two (2) terrorists’ caches, containing a homemade bomb and a batch of ammunition, were destroyed, Monday in Bouira, by a detachment of People’s National Army, said, Tuesday, a statement of the Ministry of National Defense.
“As part of the fight against terrorism, a detachment of People’s National Army discovered and destroyed, on April 9, 2018 in Bouira (1st Military Region), two (2) bunkers for terrorists containing one (1) homemade bomb, a quantity of ammunition, one (1) photovoltaic plate, as well as food, medicine, clothing and various objects, “added the same source.
As part of the fight against smuggling and organized crime, detachments of People’s National Army “seized in Tamanrasset, four (4) all-terrain vehicles, (2.7) tons of food, (1,660) liters of fuel, as well as various gold panning tools “.
In addition, “(8.9) tons of tea intended for smuggling and (1.560) units of different drinks were seized respectively in Ouargla and Oran”.
On the other hand, combined detachments of the ANP “have intercepted (25) illegal immigrants of different nationalities in Sidi Bel Abbés, Tlemcen and Tamanrasset,” concluded the same source.
