Health care for population in South to tangibly improve within months


Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform, Mokhtar Hasbellaoui said Saturday in Biskra that health care for the population in the southern provinces will “tangibly improve in the coming months, thanks to new facilities which are under construction.”

In a lively press conference on the sidelines of the launching of World Health Day festivities in this province, the minister reported on a program to develop hospitals in the South of the country, including the opening of two faculties. medical sciences in Bechar and Laghouat and the creation of three anti-cancer centers (CAC) in Adrar, Bechar and El Oued.

The completion of these three CAC is 95% complete and the necessary equipment has been provided and is in the testing stage, he said.
