Algeria-Hungary: Ways to strengthen cooperation in legal and institutional fields examined


Minister of Justice Tayeb Louh, held talks with his Hungarian counterpart, Laszlo Trocsanyi, on ways and means of cooperation in the legal and institutional fields, said, Wednesday, a statement from the Ministry.

Mr. Louh reviewed “the reforms initiated by the President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika,” said the statement adding that the meeting was crowned by the signing of an executive program for the year 2018-2019 relating to institutional cooperation between the Ministries of Justice of the two countries.

The signing of this document is part of the “revival of the memorandum of understanding signed in Algeria on November 8, 2015 between the ministries of justice of the two countries,” the source said.

In this aspect, the Minister also held meetings with the President of the Supreme Court of Hungary and the Attorney General.

Mr Louh’s visit to Hungary at the invitation of his Hungarian counterpart is part of the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.
