Turkish President pays tribute to memory of National Liberation War martyrs


Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan paid Monday evening, at the sanctuary of martyrs in Algiers, tribute to the memory of the martyrs of the National Liberation War.

Accompanied by the President of the Council of the Nation, Abdelkader Bensalah, Erdogan laid a wreath before the commemorative stele and observed a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs of the National Liberation War.

The Turkish President is paying a three-day official visit to Algeria at the invitation of President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
