A maritime route linking Algeria’s Bejaia with Tunisia’s Tuniswill be inaugurated next June,  said, Friday, the first person in charge of the port of Béjaïa, Mr. Achour Djelloul, in a statement to the press.

In this aspect, two boats with a capacity of 460 and 650 cars will be mobilized so as to ensure 4 trips per month.

Other destinations will be inaugurated too, to wit; Italy and Croatia.

It is worth mentioning that Algerians remain the first visitors to Tunisia.
Of the 7 million tourists who visited Tunisia in 2017, 35% were Algerians, according to figures from the Tunisian Tourism Ministry.
