Istanbul to host Arab Culture Days in March, Algeria attracted

(KUNA) has reported that the Turkish city of Istanbul is set to play host to the third Arabic Book version and Culture Days, from 2nd to 11th March.

The TYB said in a press release, on Friday, that the cultural event will be co-organized by the Writers Union of Turkey (TYB) Istanbul Branch and Hasimi Publishing House, while
it is expected to attract 55 publishing houses, 300 scientists and writers from 22 countries, mainly from Kuwait, Turkey, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Sudan and Qatar, it added.
The union emphasized, in this aspect, that the gathering is mainly meant to promote and bolster religious and linguistic bonds, so as to establish a common heritage and culture of Islamic countries.
It is worth mentioning that thousands of books in Arabic will be displayed, while conferences, seminars, concerts, faculty meetings, discussions and art exhibitions will take place, the same source pointed out.
