Cnra ‘s new scientific council installed


The new scientific council of the National Center for Research in Archeology (Cnra) was installed Monday with the priority mission to take charge of degraded cultural sites and to establish a digital map of archaeological sites in Algeria, said the Ministry of Culture in a statement,APS reported.

Composed of 14 academics and researchers including the Algerian researcher at UNESCO, Mounir Bouchenaki, the council’s mission is to take charge of mentioned  degradation state on some heritage sites and the “obligation to carry out missions “on the ground  in collaboration with local authorities and universities.
