Messahel signs in Rome joint Declaration on Mediterranean Erasmus

Foreign Minister Abdelkader Messahel inked Friday, in Rome, a joint declaration on the Mediterranean Erasmus, on the sidelines of the “Rome-Mediterranean Dialogues” conference being held in the Italian capital (November 30 – December 2).   


This declaration, initiated by Italy, the host country of the Conference, intervenes in support of the European Union’s “Erasmus Plus” program for Southern Mediterranean countries.

The signatory countries, namely Algeria, Italy, Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya and Morocco, undertook under this Declaration to “strengthen inter-university cooperation and increase opportunities for meetings and dialogue between students and young researchers from both shores of the Mediterranean “.
