Trade and investments in Africa: Messahel stresses in Washington importance of basic infrastructures


Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdelkader Messahel underlined Friday in Washington, the need to support Africa efforts in the fields of basic infrastructures and their crucial role in facilitating and boosting trade and investments.

As part of his participation in the ministerial meeting on security, governance, trade and investment in Washington,  Messahel reminded, in this regard, the importance of the realization of the Trans-Saharan Highway which will link, from 2018, Algiers to Lagos, Nigeria, in the opening up of the Sahel countries and the economic development of all West Africa, Central Africa and East Africa.
