The minister of Interior Local Authorities and National Planning Noureddine Bedoui reiterated Friday, in Souk Ahras, “the transparency and the administration’s total guarantee of neutrality” during the local elections of 23 November.
“The citizen is the only one to decide who he wants to trust and the only one to seal the fate of the political parties running for the local elections of 23 November,” said the minister on the sidelines of the inauguration of the new headquarters of the People’s Municipal Assembly (APC) of Souk Ahras, assuring the “completion of the material and human preparations and the mobilization of all the necessary conditions for the success of this rendezvous.”
The transparency of services and the integrity of the officials in charge of the electoral file is “a commitment” for the ministry of interior, Local Authorities and National Planning which, he said, “ensures the compliance with the State’s laws and the prevailing legislations and thus, in collaboration with the High Independent Authority for Election Monitoring (HIISE).
On this occasion, the minister called on all the political partners to “respect the principals of fair competition and to promote public and national interest.”
